The Trusted Advisor
Most anyone who works with clients can sit down and chat with them. But, that’s not the same thing as being able to strategize and work together with your clients. A trusted advisor is a company or individual that is truly given a seat at the client’s table. Instead of being just another vendor, you’re considered a strategic partner that the client sees as an asset in reaching their goals. 

There are several key steps one can take to becoming a trusted advisor.  The book, "The Trusted Advisor", provides you with the information and foundation you need to move into the role of a client's trusted advisor. 

In this lesson you will:

1. Read the Executive Book Summary of "The Trusted Advisor"
2. Listen to "A Look Inside", and interview of one of the authors of "The Trusted Advisor" book. 
3. Watch the video "Understanding the Trust Equation for Professional Relationships"
